M Squared Engineering, LLC (M²) provides conceptual planning and final site design for residential, commercial, industrial, recreational and institutional projects. Careful planning is a tool we use for the success of all projects. Coordination and continuous communication with key project stakeholders help ensure an efficient schedule that meets clients’ needs.

Early on in the project, after the environmental concerns are addressed, M² explores numerous layouts and options to develop the most efficient and cost-effective design. Protection of critical site features, such as environmentally or ecologically sensitive areas, is incorporated into the design to ensure their perpetual existence. M² continually seeks creative, innovative solutions to generate a superior design for every project.

To maintain project timelines, M² initiates permit coordination as early as possible. A preapplication meeting with appropriate regulatory agencies such as DNR (Department of Natural Resources), local municipalities, US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and/or Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) ensures that all regulatory requirements are incorporated into the conceptual planning process. Final construction plans are generated in accordance with all state and local requirements. We follow the project through construction to ensure our design standards are maintained in the field.
