We incorporated Engineer’s Week by challenging YOU to help us reach the most future engineers. We asked you to send us your experiences, stories, and ideas on how you were able to reach just one girl and introduce her to the wonders of engineering. Stay tuned to find out who our top entries were!

DECEMBER 2015 – Cedarburg, WI – This year, instead of doing an internal gift exchange, resources were pooled to purchase new toys to gift to a local toy drive through Kapco Metal & Stamping in Grafton.  Donations from staff were collected by Cindy and Minal and delivered directly to the Kapco’s office.   On the way, we decided to pose for a photo at Santa’s Workshop in downtown Cedarburg.  As Cindy put it, “It was fine when we were stacking the toys in front of Santa’s Workshop for the photo.  It just looked a little suspicious when we grabbed them all after and stashed them in Minal’s car – right on the main street in Cedarburg!”IMG_7831 - used for website news  Cropped toys

We hope to grow this wonderful tradition next year and have our colleagues, clients, friend, and families donate with us.  We want to see this pile get bigger and bigger every year!

There is an existing floodplain on the southern third of the property. As the design proceeds, flood proofing of the proposed building and detention pond will be required.
